Test every boat when it first arrives for scheduled work. Any problems found mean more work for you and a safer boat for the owner.
Test every boat when it’s finished. You’ll know that nobody in the yard accidentally created a problem.
II. In a marina:
Test every dockside power receptacle for polarity and proper voltage.
Test the water surrounding the docks for electrical leakage.
- Periodically check every boat for electrical problems that can create an unsafe condition.
